Journal pages - Santa Fe

Even though we have been back from Santa Fe for just over two weeks I am still under the spell of New Mexico. One day we drove to Taos and stopped along the high road on the way back to Santa Fe, photographing some of the churches. I look at my photographs and wish I were still there, in the sunshine and the history.

Looking forward to Summer

Acrylic on Canvas, 24" x 30". Study for my Landscape class on painting "big" not that this is so big but when the class is only 2 hours long, one has to limit oneself somehow. The painting is based on a photograph taken by the husband of one of my students. Thank you, Bruce. It is titled "A conversational group of gulls discuss the stock market that day."
