Working on a map/personal history to include scenes from childhood for a friend. Beginning with a view of Clifton and Hotwells and then moving into Jacob's Wells swimming pool where we learnt to swim. Onto our school and then moving into adulthood.

New Orleans - amid its watery element. Still have to add the labels but making the map makes me think of all those wonderful walks when I visited there last month. Somehow the act of map making helps one understand the spirit of a place.
Manhattan Map detail
Manhattan- a theme park for adults. Detail showing the circus elephants arriving by night. This annual elephant parade which only ended in March '13 marked the visit of the circus to Manhattan. Acrylic on wood panel. 24 x 24". Now on show at The First Bank of Greenwich.
