The Flu Strikes - Sick as a Dog.
Poor Wilfred succumbs to the flu. Feverish and covered with spots, poor Wilfred takes to his blanket.
Rather less charming
Lancelot was just in time to catch one of the 2013 snakes trying to digest both of the new squirrel interns, along with Wilfred's barkberry, sundry items of office equipment and Agile's favorite hat. Getting the snake's stomach pumped was an expensive ordeal. Lancelot has now decided that the Néw Year's celebrations are officially over and it is time to get back to work. Thank Goodness the squirrels were shaken but not stirred and were rescued just in time.

Christmas wishes
The Design Studio had taken on a pair of student interns to help with the Christmas rush. The purple squirrels will be helping Lancelot and co manage their social media platforms. They also prove very useful when the holiday photograph is being taken.

Thanksgiving Parade
In recognition of Lancelot's services to hedgehogs world wide, Lancelot was invited to take part in the Thanksgiving parade this year. Unfortunately however, due to circumstances beyond his control ( Sandy, the recent time change and forgetting to plug in the alarm clock,) the team missed the start of the actual parade. Which is why they had 6th Avenue all to themselves when they finally appeared... Several hours later.

Busy, Busy, Busy
Not having seen Lancelot and co since the great blackout I decided I ought to go over and check on them. The light was on and they were clearly working but no one answered the studio door even though I knocked several times. What can they be doing?
In the aftermath
Lancelot and co have kindly been keeping me company during the long dark evenings. Took this picture of us all last night playing cards. I persuaded Lancelot to pay for one tenth of a cent stakes but even so he claims I now owe him $5,000,668.00 Perhaps we should try dice this evening instead....
Poor Choices, Adverse Consequences.
I recently spoke to Lancelot, Agile and Wilfred on the importance of making wise choices vis a vis Halloween Candy. Lancelot said he would be trick or treating for pencils for the design studio, Agile claimed he would only accept toothbrushes and all three assured me they would only eat chocolate with a 70% or higher cocoa fat content and only if it had been grown by small, artisanal communities 8,000 ft above sea level and wearing only organic cotton or hemp. I felt greatly relieved.
Boosting Productivity
Keen to follow the best business practices of Silicon Valley, Lancelot installs a "Nap Room" in the Design Studio. The take up is 100%. Naturally productivity soars.....
A New Venture for Agile
I was a little surprised when Agile offered to accompany me into NYC yesterday and even more surprised when I saw what he was proposing to wear- Agile was covered with small gold hoops . "Didn't it hurt?". I asked, aghast "o no" he grinned. "these are new "grip clicks". - totally painless body piercings that work on a small spring loaded clasp basis. I invented the technology myself. There will even be an app for it soon Just wait " We shall see ...
Busy, Busy. Busy
Lancelot has been extremely busy lately, putting the finishing touches to his book "Visual journals" - a most inspirational guide to creative journals to which I was lucky enough to be able to contribute to. Here we see the industrious hedgehog inscribing one of the books for an aspiring artist.
Self Portraits - recalling a recent triumph.
While I have been working on the Self Portrait project for the Bruce Museum, Lancelot has also been doing a self portrait. I did tell him that it had to be 6 x 6" but I don't think he had his listening ears on. In any case, he was not a whit perturbed, informing me that the painting was already spoken for, being destined for a keen collector in Chicago.
The Awards Ceremony
To everyone's surprise except Agile's, Team Lancelot takes the bronze medal in the Downhill Random Basket Weave 3 Animal 400 Meter race. Go Team Lancelot.
