Madame Prickleoffski
In his younger days Lancelot would sometimes disguise himself as Madame Prickeoffski, the famous Eastern medium, gaze into his crystal ball and tell fortunes. (It was a way to finance his studies.) Now anxious to raise capital for a promising new venture, Lancelot, as Madame Prickeoffski, is hired by the Meteorological Service, to help improve the accuracy of their predictions.

Hurrah for Summer
Summer seems to have finally arrived. Yeah, my favorite season. Friday, the longest day of the year and we saw our first hummingbird in the garden on Friday evening and our first fireflies. A very good beginning. Walking at the beach we have even seen a couple of brave swimmers. So to celebrate Summer, a journal page of paddlers.

With the Memorial Day weekend a near washout - except thank goodness for the Monday, I found myself working on another South Western piece. Really just a cloud study to complement what we are doing in class. When I think of the South West I think of wonderful, dramatic cloud formations and about three drops of rain. So very different from here.... oil on canvas, 24 x 30"
